Welcome to the new look Moo-tique Yarns.

For the past several years Moo-tique Yarns has operated as an Australian based online yarn store. In 2017 we opened a store in country Victoria, however by mid 2019 we decided to close the storefront.  By the end of 2019, due to sky rocketing importing cost, decided to close the online store completely.  This decision came about because I mainly stocked imported yarns, as that was what my customer base preferred.  I have some yarns left and will continue to stock Fiddlesticks Superb 8 – as this is a beautiful anti-pilling acrylic yarn.  I work with this yarn as my go to and work almost 90% of my patterns in this yarn.

2020 is a new and exciting time for Moo-tique Yarns.  I am taking the business in a completely new direction.  How I hear you ask?  I have been trying my hand at crochet design for some time now.  Heather was the first ever piece I designed and I certainly jumped in the DEEP end for a first time pattern.  Since then I have released a few more patterns, and the majority of all my patterns are free at this stage.  I would love to continue this path, as I have so many ideas – I just need the time, knowledge and experience to bring them to life.

Another change you will see, is I have asked a few of my fellow designers to join in this new adventure with me, and will be highlighting these designers along the way.  They are more experienced with their designs than myself, and I’m sure if you haven’t heard of them before you will love their designs.  Please show both Emily & Jodie some crochet love.

If you like what you see with my designs, please follow the links to become one of my testers.  I promise not to work your socks off, as it takes months for a design to come to the test stage.  In fact, in the case of Heather, it has been years, and still I work on the original design to get it right.

Thank you for visiting my page and hope you like the changes.
